The Services and Products section allows you to specify the different services, products and packages that your company offers.
Once you’ve selected your industry, Jobber automatically generates a basic list of services that are common to businesses like yours. You can easily add and delete services and products and you can create customized packages that suit your business’s specific needs.
Services
Services is a list of all of the individual services that your business offers. You can add/edit/delete services from your list and specify how much you charge for each one.
You can easily add services by clicking the “Add a Service” button at the top of the list.
Products
Your products list can be populated with all of the different products that you offer. For instance, a painting company that uses both basic and premium paint products can specify different charges for each different kind of paint they offer. Products are manipulated in the same way that services are. To delete something, simply select the product, service or package and click the delete button in the bottom right corner of the detail window.
Notice that you can also modify the descriptors for a service, product or package as well as change the unit price to reflect your business’s pricing.
Packages
Packages can be created with any combination of services and products that have already been entered into your corresponding lists. Most service companies already tend to bundle or package their services and products, Jobber just makes it easier to do so!
Creating, editing or deleting a package works the same way as with services and products except that you are also presented with a drop-down menu from which you can select each element of the package from your services and products lists.
Remember to add each item to the list as you go. Once you’re done you can save the package by clicking on “Create Work Item.”
